Thank you for your interest in advertising with The Tiny Post, a Brand Theory LLC company. These Advertiser Information & Terms explain how our advertising process works and outline the terms that apply to every advertising reservation.
By reserving advertising space with The Tiny Post, you agree to the following terms.
About The Tiny Post
The Tiny Post is a community-focused direct mail publication serving neighborhoods throughout the Santa Clarita Valley.
Our mission is simple:
Connect local businesses with local families through a beautifully designed publication that residents actually enjoy receiving.
Unlike traditional coupon mailers, we proudly feature only one business per category in each mailing whenever possible.
Category Exclusivity
One of the things that makes The Tiny Post different is our commitment to category exclusivity.
Whenever possible, each mailing features only one business within each business category.
Examples include:
- Realtor
- Dentist
- HVAC
- Roofing
- Photographer
- Landscaping
- Salon
- Insurance Agent
Business categories are determined solely by The Tiny Post.
Category availability is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
A category is not considered reserved until payment has been received in full.
Reserving Your Spot
To reserve advertising space:
- Contact us regarding availability.
- We'll confirm category availability and mailing details.
- An invoice will be issued.
- Payment must be received within 24 hours unless otherwise stated.
Invoices not paid within the required timeframe may be canceled and the advertising space released to another business without notice.
Pricing
Advertising rates are subject to change without notice.
Current pricing begins at $500 for participation in qualifying mailings.
Quotes remain valid only for the period stated on the proposal or invoice.
Design Services
Advertisers may submit their own print-ready artwork or purchase professional ad design from The Tiny Post.
Professional ad design is available for a one-time fee of $150.
Design services include:
- Custom advertisement layout
- Professional formatting
- Print-ready artwork
- Final digital files for future use
Upon final approval and payment, advertisers receive ownership of the completed advertisement artwork for future marketing use.
Advertiser-Supplied Artwork
Advertisers choosing to provide their own artwork are responsible for ensuring all submitted files meet our artwork specifications.
The Tiny Post reserves the right to request modifications if artwork does not meet print quality standards.
Artwork Approval
All advertisements require final approval by the advertiser prior to printing.
Once final approval has been provided, The Tiny Post is not responsible for:
- Spelling errors
- Incorrect phone numbers
- Incorrect addresses
- Pricing errors
- Other content approved by the advertiser
Please review your proof carefully.
Advertiser Responsibility
The advertiser is solely responsible for all information contained within their advertisement.
By submitting artwork or advertising content, the advertiser represents that they have the legal right to use all submitted:
- Logos
- Images
- Photographs
- Trademarks
- Copyrighted materials
- Promotional offers
- Marketing claims
The advertiser assumes all responsibility for the accuracy and legality of submitted content.
Advertising Content
The Tiny Post reserves the right to reject, modify, or remove any advertisement for any reason, including but not limited to advertisements containing:
- False or misleading claims
- Illegal products or services
- Adult content
- Cannabis products
- Tobacco or vaping products
- Firearms or weapons
- Political advertising
- Gambling
- Cryptocurrency promotions
- Multi-level marketing programs (MLMs)
- Hate speech or discriminatory content
- Material inconsistent with our publication standards
Acceptance of previous advertisements does not guarantee future acceptance.
Printing
While every effort is made to accurately reproduce advertisements, slight variations in:
- Color
- Brightness
- Paper stock
- Print registration
may occur during commercial printing.
These variations are considered normal and do not constitute printing defects.
Mailing
Mailing dates are estimates only.
Publication schedules may change due to:
- Printing schedules
- Postal processing
- Production delays
- Supply chain issues
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control
The Tiny Post is not responsible for postal delivery times once mail has entered the United States Postal Service.
Cancellations & Refunds
Advertising payments are non-refundable.
If an advertiser is unable to participate in the originally scheduled mailing, The Tiny Post will make reasonable efforts to transfer the reservation to a future mailing, subject to availability.
Requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
No Guarantee of Results
Advertising effectiveness varies based on numerous factors including:
- Industry
- Offer
- Seasonality
- Market conditions
- Customer demand
While direct mail remains an effective advertising channel, The Tiny Post does not guarantee:
- Sales
- Leads
- Phone calls
- Website traffic
- Customer inquiries
- Return on investment
Limitation of Liability
The Tiny Post's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the advertiser for the affected advertisement.
Under no circumstances shall The Tiny Post or Brand Theory LLC be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages.
Force Majeure
The Tiny Post shall not be liable for delays or failures resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Postal disruptions
- Equipment failures
- Government actions
- Labor disputes
- Supply shortages
- Internet outages
- Other unforeseen events
Changes to These Terms
These Advertiser Information & Terms may be updated periodically.
The version in effect at the time of reservation shall govern that advertising agreement.
